How do we get to the point where we know what’s ours creatively and what’s not?

It feels like this project has been going on forever. Because it has!

Well, it only took us 2 years to get from Part One of this story to part two. Two frustrating, surreal, crazy years that no one wants to repeat. This project has gone through the gamut.

Our self isolation was broken momentarily yesterday as our architect came by for a walk-through of our barn with an interior builder - who we’ve worked with before and have had great experience with.

A few years back we had the chance to buy an extremely small, completely dilapidated space in a very small group of houses in Piemonte, Italy.

Things were changing, and I somehow knew huge things were going to happen.  I felt it like an earthquake, far below the surface, trying to shake loose my paradigms of safety, security, and a well-lived life. 

I am about to start the mother of all tile restoration projects.

We've recently added some exterior lighting to our barn, highlighting one of the facades which can be seen from the road.
